India is the second most populated country. But when we talk about cricket, there cannot be any country that can even challenge in terms of its popularity. We all know that Kapil Dev's team after winning the World cup of 1983 marked the arrival of fearless cricketers, which continued to dominate the world with their individual performances. In the 21st century, the roar of Saurav Ganguly's team remarked that the lion is the king of the jungle, it will not allow another lion to dominate over him.
India's historic win over Australian soil stated that the fearless generations have arrived to dominate over their possible best XI. This was not India's first Test series win on Australian soil but still, it was more valuable than the earlier one. In the first test, India totally dominated over them by taking lead after the first inning and the one bad hour, India were all out on 36 (probably India's lowest score in a Test inning.) And the pain of loss was not going to relaxed, because of Kohli's return, Shami's injury, etc. Not only India was hurt about its batting line up, but also India's pace trio dismantled totally. And from there to India's comeback is an Untold Story.
The photos below itself tell us a story.
The Historic win showed the bench strength of the Indian cricket team. When your young guns just go blazing from their debut match, all of its credit goes IPL ( Indian Premier League ). The introduction of IPL is one of the most successful decisions ever taken in the history of Indian cricket. It completely changed the prevailing scenario. Nobody can deny the importance of the Ranji Trophy or Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy or all other domestic tournaments but we all also know that neither of them can fulfill the feet of IPL, and the only reason is the exposure of players either playing the matches or simply practicing with the IPL franchise.
IPL has not only found new talents but also provided a platform where players experience the pressure and environment of International cricket at an early stage of their career and in other terms it motivates them to increase their efforts towards their game. In terms of quality, IPL is the toughest franchise cricket league in the world. Exposure of young Indian players with the top quality international players help them not only learn from them but also creates a friendly environment. So, whenever these youngsters get the opportunity to play an international platform, they are already aware of the situation.
The brand of cricket played and promoted in IPL has also gained its fan following and encourages a lot of youths toward cricket as a career. It creates more and more competition and hence the quality increases. Sometimes you feel sad various talented players are left out of the squad, but at the other end, the team plays a good brand of cricket, and the players playing there are also quality players. But the motto is to make our country proud. And at the end of the day, who so ever plays is not important, important is that our country performs well.
